Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 13, 2026
Celebrimbor LLC, doing business as QuoteMe ("we," "our," or "us"), operates the QuoteMe mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our Service.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business information (business name, address, and services offered). This information is necessary to provide the Service and create quotes on your behalf.
Quote and Business Data
We store the quotes you create, customer information you enter, job schedules, invoices, expenses, and related business data. This data is essential to the core functionality of the Service and is stored securely on our servers.
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details on our servers. We retain only a tokenized reference and basic billing information (such as the last four digits of your card) necessary for managing your account.
Uploaded Content
When you upload photos, documents, or other files (such as site pictures or existing quotes for AI extraction), we store these files securely to provide the requested functionality. Uploaded content is associated with your account and the relevant quotes or jobs.
Signing Data
When your customers sign quotes, we collect the signature (drawn or typed), the signer's IP address, timestamp, timezone, and a cryptographic hash of the signed document. This information forms the audit trail for signed quotes and is retained for legal and record-keeping purposes.
Usage Data
We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the Service, including device type, operating system version, app version, and general usage patterns. This data helps us improve the Service and troubleshoot issues.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Create, send, and manage quotes, jobs, and invoices on your behalf
- Process payments and manage billing
- Send transactional communications (quote notifications, signing confirmations, account updates)
- Provide customer support
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues
- Generate anonymous, aggregated analytics to improve the Service
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:
- With your customers: When you send a quote, the recipient sees your business name, contact information, and the quote details you've included.
- Service providers: We use trusted third-party services (such as AWS for hosting, Stripe for payments, and email delivery services) to operate the Service. These providers access your data only to perform services on our behalf and are bound by contractual obligations to protect it.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, secure cloud infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), and access controls. While no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we take reasonable precautions to safeguard your information.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account and business data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or compliance purposes (such as signed quote audit trails).
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access and receive a copy of your personal data
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Object to or restrict processing of your personal data
- Data portability (receive your data in a structured, commonly used format)
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@quoteme.app. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services (hosting and infrastructure), and email delivery providers. Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies for details on how they handle your data.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
